THE QUIET MEME

Rules:

- Post your character with name and canon, and also any preferences.
- Reply to other characters, using the RNG (1-7) to choose an option.
- Decide on roles and go to it!

1.  The Quiet Game
The first person to make any sound loses.  Do they lose a bet, do they have to buy the next round, or is this just for innocent (or, not so innocent) fun?  Are you the one making your partner lose, or are you the one barely able to contain yourself?

2.  At the Library/Museum/Church
You're both in a place where making noise just isn't very appropriate.  So why do you feel the urge to make some?

3.  Do Not Disturb
One of you needs quiet; perhaps they are studying, working hard at a project, or even sleeping.  Either way, they've asked you for some peace and quiet.  Why can't you just leave them alone?  How far will they go to get the quiet they deserve?

4.  Sneaky
One of you is sneaking somewhere you really shouldn't be sneaking.  Is it illegal, or are you just trying to get a midnight snack?  Are you breaking in, or out?  Did you overhear something you shouldn't have?

5.  Someone is There
Somebody is in the house!  Is it your friend playing a prank, or is it more serious than that?  Do you know who is there?  Are you hiding from them? How afraid are you?  Don't give yourself away!

6.  Can't Talk
One of you literally can't utter a sound.  Maybe someone or something magical stole your voice, or maybe you've just caught a bad cold, but not a peep from you.  How's your sign-language? 

7.  Forced
One of you has been forced to be keep quiet, restrained either by threat or physical force.  Is this a game with someone, or is it more dangerous than that?  How will you get the other person's attention, or are they the one who forced you in the first place?

[ Howl is...confused. You see -- he's found himself, somehow, somewhere between 1931-1934 (you pick!), Manhattan. Not Ingary.

There hadn't been anything in particular he could recall about what he did wrong this time, regarding the enchantment of his portal, so he's going to at least enjoy the moment before he slips back into worlds and times more familiar to him. He figured it was his sleep-deprived state that caused this.

He's marveling at the streets and taking note of how prohibition and depression had affected the way businesses were arranged in the area, when a striking woman passes him by, with a strange air to her.

A woman who was just perfect to ask for assistance in regards to finding a good cup of coffee!

He's just going to pivot on his heel and stare after her, blinking in surprise and admiration, a smile slowly curving to his lips. ]

[ So that cold that's been going round the Apollon Media offices? The last one to catch it was Dr. Saitou, and, well, since the only way to hear him is to get into very close proximity at all times... Kotetsu's caught it, with full-on cold shivers, coughs and a throat so sore that sniffling makes it sting.

He's trying to stick it out (a Hero never takes a break, after all!) with a cold mask strapped over his mouth and nose, slumped on a bench in the gym area. The exercise machines are tempting but his body aches just looking at them; last time he tried lifting his legs on the treadmill he petered out in a minute and spluttered for about ten afterwards. Since then, he's been snuffling, tutting, coughing, shifting about irritably, but not a vocal peep from him for hours. ]

It's one of those times she wishes she knew more common magic. At least something like Esuna. Something to try and cure it.

It means there's a fucking Claire sneaking through the jail, up the corridor Kotetsu is supposed to be keeping an eye on, but currently he has his back to. Perhaps he's turned to keep an eye on the security camera footage and been distracted by a pot noodle? Who knows. Well, whatever, you're being watched very intently by a figure hugging the walls to keep those high-vis orange prison scrubs in the shadows and padding in your direction with painstakingly practised silent footsteps. ]
