THE QUIET MEME

Rules:

- Post your character with name and canon, and also any preferences.
- Reply to other characters, using the RNG (1-7) to choose an option.
- Decide on roles and go to it!

1. The Quiet Game
The first person to make any sound loses. Do they lose a bet, do they have to buy the next round, or is this just for innocent (or, not so innocent) fun? Are you the one making your partner lose, or are you the one barely able to contain yourself?

2. At the Library/Museum/Church
You're both in a place where making noise just isn't very appropriate. So why do you feel the urge to make some?

3. Do Not Disturb
One of you needs quiet; perhaps they are studying, working hard at a project, or even sleeping. Either way, they've asked you for some peace and quiet. Why can't you just leave them alone? How far will they go to get the quiet they deserve?

4. Sneaky
One of you is sneaking somewhere you really shouldn't be sneaking. Is it illegal, or are you just trying to get a midnight snack? Are you breaking in, or out? Did you overhear something you shouldn't have?

5. Someone is There
Somebody is in the house! Is it your friend playing a prank, or is it more serious than that? Do you know who is there? Are you hiding from them? How afraid are you? Don't give yourself away!

6. Can't Talk
One of you literally can't utter a sound. Maybe someone or something magical stole your voice, or maybe you've just caught a bad cold, but not a peep from you. How's your sign-language?

7. Forced
One of you has been forced to be keep quiet, restrained either by threat or physical force. Is this a game with someone, or is it more dangerous than that? How will you get the other person's attention, or are they the one who forced you in the first place?

[It was like someone had cast Silence on her. Not a peep came out, even when she tried to scream or even sing.

It's one of those times she wishes she knew more common magic. At least something like Esuna. Something to try and cure it.

Instead she'll just seek Riku out. He might know more about losing your voice than she does right now.]

[Well, if anyone had cast a Silent spell, then Riku has been left unaffected. He can sense that something is wrong when he sees Naminé hover at the doorstep to his room.]

Hey, Naminé. Is something wrong?

[She opens her mouth out of habit and ready to talk, but closes it, remembering with a grimace. Who knows if he even knows how to read lips?

Instead, she notices an empty notepad and pen on his desk, having forgot to bring her own. Namine walks over and gestures to it, asking if she could use it.]

[Yeah... Riku has many skills, but lip-reading isn't one of them.

It is pretty easy to figure out what she wants with pen and paper though, so he just pulls back, so that she has easier access.]

Go ahead.

[She smiles, nods a thanks and gets right to writing neatly on the notepad.]

I don't know how, but I lost my voice. Can't talk.

[He blinks at her, frowning just slightly.]

Do you think it was a spell?

[That she can answer with body language. Her brows furrow and she looks sort of helpless before giving a shrug.]

It could have been.

[Well, whelp... it's not like he knows how to cast Esuna, so he can't really check it. Maybe he should ask Sora about that, he knows quite a bit more magic that Riku does. He should ask a few more questions to make sure that they are dealing with magic before that though.]

...How's your throat feeling?

[She mouths the word 'fine' before remembering and closing it sheepishly. It's hard to stop and remember not to talk, but she smiles and shakes her head. Everything's feeling fine.]

[All right... a spell then, it seems. Well, he won't be able to help with that, so...

He pushes himself off his chair.]

Sorry, but I don't think this is something I can cure. Come, let's go see Sora about it.

[He will probably have even less of an idea what might be wrong with her throat; but at least he knows spells beyond a simple Cure (though what Riku does can hardly even be called that).]

[She nods, looking unsure for a moment at the idea of finding Sora for this. But she trusts both boys. She just doesn't know if it's curable.

Namine turns herself around to head out the door as well, waiting for him to lead the way.]

[It definitely should be. Besides Riku is not one to give up so easily; if Sora doesn't know anything, then they'll go take the whole thing to Mickey. And then all the way to Yen Sid if needed.

And off they go! Sora shouldn't be too far, right?]

[Oh man, don't let her hear you being willing to take it up to a Keyblade Master, Riku. She doesn't like not talking, but surely they don't need to go up that far in the magic ladder.

Nope! Hopefully not. She trails just behind Riku as he walks.]

[Oh, he doubts that he will have to take it that far; but he totally would should it turn out to be necessary. Even though, he probably wouldn't tell her just whom he is taking her to, just so that she can't protest.

Walking, walking, soon enough they should be stumbling over his bff now, he thinks.]
