"Hush."

It is a gentle word fashioned into a command, one that is not open to argument. Of course, Reinette suspects that even now it will not prevent him from trying all the same.

The glass in his side nicks her hand as well, but she cannot be bothered by such small things. Still, Reinette recognizes that there is no way for her to physically cover the wound. The realization leaves her feeling frustrated.

And small. It is not an emotion she is accustomed to managing. Pushing it aside she attempts to guide him towards a settee, even as she commands her staff to leave. Whatever the threat, it is now gone. And she would not have them hovering about them, choking whatever air she managed to take in.
